Seems Cindy McCain was in plain sight and San Diego County has the nearly five-years worth of back taxes she owed on a La Jolla condo. Says the Union-Tribune: "Someone at the trust made an electronic payment
of $6,744.42 at 1 p.m. Friday. Yesterday (Monday 6/30), the remaining $1,742 was paid
- a debt that would have put the owners in default as of midnight last
night, said Dan McAllister, treasurer-tax collector for San Diego
County."
